LA City Alert: Major storm expected late Monday-Wednesday.

City of Los Angeles Emergency Alert: The National Weather Service has forecast that a major storm will impact the City of Los Angeles beginning tonight, Monday, October 13th, through early Wednesday morning, October 15th.  Parts of Los Angeles may receive up to 0.75 - 1 inch of rain, with 2 - 4 inches possible in the foothills.  There is a moderate risk of significant flash flooding and debris flow across recent burn scars.

Be on the lookout for any damaged/fallen trees, localized roadway flooding and power outages.  Traffic signal out? Treat it as a four-way stop and proceed with caution.  Expect traffic delays, use alternate routes, and allow for additional travel time as needed.
